The Spring exhibition was such a lovely event, and one that i am vert proud to e a part of. It brought me endless joy to see the evident progress within the quality of our work throughout the year. Once again, the designs exhibited are direct reflections from four intense creative workshops.

Diving into workshop one, the brief provides one week for the exploration of a variety of mark making techniques. After thoroughly sampling and developing, a 34 page concertina was filled using marks containing only red and black pigment.

To transform these experimental compositions, digital abstraction came into play. Workshop four completely transformed these designs from digital to textile. 54 lamps with typographical artworks were displayed, showcasing our multidisciplinary approach within design. This demonstrates the avenues available when an initial mark is placed.

To complete the exhibition, two A6 publications were printed, showcasing our experimental responses, with each having 40 allocated pages. This was a brilliant workshop to continue our publication development, in preparation for fourth year.
