The initial prompt for this risography project centred on a place of considerable personal significance. I examined Greek islands, drawing on cherished memories from solo trips and vacations with my mother.

This meaningful location served as the foundation for the project's investigation and development. The textual elements of these prints are inspired by an assigned month of the year, utilizing a specific graphic font influenced by Dutch graphic designer Wim Crouwel. My assigned month was April. In addition to the islands and text, these compositions incorporate halftone processes, dots, and circles to enhance depth and visual interest.

I am grateful for the opportunity to learn the intricacies and processes of risography, as well as to refine the structure of layered compositions. Throughout the various print workshops, I learned through trial and error the importance of content preparation for printing, which proved to be a challenge when I was unprepared. Overall, this project has provided a valuable learning experience, and I look forward to further exploring this medium in future endeavours.
